Admissions

Requirements

When enrolling at Bronston Canadian Academy, you will need to provide a copy of your official transcripts containing the notarized seal of the issuing institution. The transcript is required to ensure you have met the prerequisite course requirements for your grade level along with a corresponding photo ID.

Upon admission, all students are required to write an entrance exam to determine the appropriate grade level for each applicant to be placed at. Applicants may be required to repeat prior grades depending on their academic records and/or Bronston exam results.

All courses at Bronston are taught in English. Proficiency in English is a requirement for attendance. International students would be provided with pathways to improve their English proficiency as needed.

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)

Prior learning includes the knowledge and skills students have acquired, in both formal and informal ways outside the classrooms. Through the evaluation process known as Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR), students may have their skills and knowledge evaluated against the overall expectations outlined in the provincial curriculum policy in order to earn credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

PLAR procedures are carried out under the direction of the school Principal, who grants the credits.

All fees, including application fees, must be paid through Wire Transfer directly to Bronston Canadian Academy as noted below.
